NYC, NY, August 1, 2025 - Elior Independent School Dining is proud to announce a new dining partnership with the United Nations International School.
Elior will serve the dining needs of students in first through 12th grade, who will enjoy a variety of healthy meals from branded concepts including Sauce & Stone, Downtown Deli, Global Grill, Classic Kitchen, Passport Plate, Leaf & Ladle. Students will also have access to gluten-free, vegetarian, and allergen-free friendly meals.

"They also loved the family feel of our company and how our team members became enmeshed in the community. It resonated with them that everyone, down to our delivery driver, would become a familiar, welcoming face and a part of their school community.”
Elior will also rebrand the school’s dining hall focused completely on the student and food experience for breakfast and lunch. Students will be engaged with Elior’s designs that feature vibrant wall colors, dining station identifications and food graphics. New digital menu boards will display ingredient and allergen information alongside menu items, enhancing student awareness and empowering them to make informed choices. Elior also offers flexible dining plans including all-inclusive, meal block purchase or a-la-carte options.
Elior's culinary staff of 18 team members will be led by Chef Manager Erik Grinberg, a 10-year independent school-dining veteran. Chef Erik was formerly with St. Hilda's & St. Hugh's School, an independent, Episcopal day school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, and The Abraham Joshua Heschel School, a nursery to 12th grade Jewish day school in New York City.
Under the direction of Catering Manager Leigh Klinger, Elior’s catering expertise will also guide clients to create the perfect menus for special events, conferences, and charitable events.
Elior will begin services on September 3, 2025.
